Yoga for Kids
Yogais a valuable tool for the development of the physical and emotional self-knowledge of children from the early childhood education stage, as it teaches them to know and use their own internal resources to face the daily situations of life in a more autonomous and free way, while it favors its cognitive development in the teaching-learning processes, because it positively acts in the development of skills such as attention, concentration and creativity.
Yoga classes for children are structured in an open and flexible way, very different from yoga classes for adults.
In each session a part of physical practice is developed (postures and coordination exercises), breathing exercises, positive thoughts to balance emotions, relaxation and concentration exercises, and preparation for meditation. All this in a playful and stimulating way, through games with music or visualizations with stories, and wrapped in a specific theme that allows to work and internalize the experiences lived in it (the senses, emotions, animals, travel, etc. ).
Communication is also an important aspect. Spending time to talk, to exchange experiences, feelings, to ask questions, to verbalize emotions in order to recognize and accept them is essential for the child's personal development and growth.
